At the foot of the Pic du Midi of Arrens, a bigourdane house from the 18th century...

A characterfull house where we maintained the best adapting everything to today's needs... This is the ideal holidays place where fullness and interior decoration are compatible. At the end of the road, with a view on the chapel of Pouey Lan you will be seduced by the charm of this weavers house.
Built with old stones, the Balatous seems to sit in the middle of nowhere... Without any neighbourhood though, it is close to the village of Arrens-Marsous in this pastoral valley, territory of the hikers.
Surrounded by meadows, the gite offers a surface of 150 m on 3 levels and 4 bedrooms which can accomodate 7 persons.

Ground floor :

A picturesque hall leads into the living room in front of the fireplace maintained like it was in the old days with its breadmaker, and its wood-burning stove. You can light a fire once for free, and you will get wood on the spot.
Living room with TV, Hi-FI system, VCR, phone and Internet access (if you have a low speed access) will be there for your evenings.
Dining area and kitchen with dishwasher, micro-wave, fridge-freezer, electric pyrolyser furnace with 4 burners ,
Cellar equipped with a washer-dryer.

1st floor:

Rhododendrons, edelweiss, forget-me-not... are the 3 bedrooms at the &st floor equipped with a 90cm bed, a 140cm bed or a 160cm bed.
Bathroom with shower and separate WC..

2nd floor :

Under the attic, the Perce-Neige bedroom (snowdrop in English) is equipped with a 140cm bed.
Bathroom and separate WC.

2 terraces with a sun lounge on the barn side.
Barbecue with plancha, garden furniture and private car park on open spaces.
Sheets provided, beds made.
